Reschedule July 27th Work Session Start Time

During the report he asked that the July 27th work session start earlier to allow for more time to review a sewer proposal for Gwinnett County. After discussion the consensus was to start the next work session at 6:00 p.m.
Highway 78 Wall Improvements

Council Member Hardrick asked about the possibility of doing something with the wall along Highway 78 to make it look nicer. After discussion the consensus was to talk to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) about what they approve and, in the meantime, plan a date to paint the wall a solid color.
Addressing the Youth Homeless Crisis

Council Member Brown asked for ideas for addressing the issue of homeless youths seen in the Grove. After discussion the consensus was that since they are juveniles the Police Department should be involved so they can get them immediate assistance. Council Members Brown and Hardrick will connect with the recently formed Gwinnett County Homelessness Task Force for idea sharing as well.

Council Member Hardrick made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by Mayor Pro Tem Carter; voted 6 in favor and 0 opposed, motion approved. The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
