The Mayor and Council of the City of Duluth met for an official Special Called Meeting and Work Session on August 25, 2025. Following the discussion, Council agreed that the plan developed by Gwinnett County is not designed to equally benefit the Citizens of Duluth and the plan does not benefit our downtown area.
C — Hudgens Small Area Plan Update

Staff was directed to move forward with updating the Comp Plan and introducing R-50 to the Core Neighborhood District.
